I was born in Bonn, Germany, and turned my talent into my profession by studying languages at Cologne University of Applied Sciences. After obtaining an academic degree in translation I pursued a post-graduate course and successfully gained a second degree in interpreting. In 1996 I was authorised by the Higher Regional Court of Cologne as a legal translator for English and French.  

After working for a translation agency in Brussels I decided to go free-lance using the experience and knowledge I had acquired there.

My languages are English, French, Portuguese and Spanish, and my fields of expertise include finance, stock market, contracts, EU, politics, human resources, European works councils, CSR, corporate communication, sustainability, energy, architecture and oenology. In addition, I work as a conference interpreter for the languages German (A), English (B), Portuguese (C) and French (C) at international meetings and events.
